Myles Place Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that is passionately dedicated to fostering inclusivity, empowerment, and opportunities for individuals and families with different abilities. Inspired by the superhero Myles Houston, our mission is to create a world where every individual, regardless of their abilities, can thrive and lead fulfilling lives.
We are committed to breaking down barriers and promoting the holistic well-being of our champions. Through our diverse range of recreational events, adaptive sports, and inclusive activities, we aim to enhance physical health, nurture social connections, and cultivate a sense of belonging.
At Myles Place Foundation (MPF), our vision is to create a world where inclusion knows no boundaries, and individuals of all abilities are valued, celebrated, and empowered.
Hero League is an adaptive sports League for our superhero's. Supported and interconnected with our community, our buddy system enables a platform to champion special-needs athletes. Throughout the course of the year athletes will have the opportunity to participate in baseball, basketball, soccer, football, swimming and cheerleading.
As we work towards our vision, we strive to raise awareness, challenge stereotypes, and reshape societal attitudes towards individuals with different abilities. We envision a future where the potential of every champion is recognized, where their unique gifts and talents are embraced, and where they are valued as essential contributors to our communities.
Our community is full of people who want to help. We strive to be a beacon of change, challenging societal norms and breaking down barriers that hinder the full participation of individuals with different abilities. Our vision is to foster a culture of inclusivity, where empathy, respect, and understanding form the foundation of all interactions and communities. We envision Myles Place Foundation as a catalyst for transformation, promoting accessibility, adaptability, scholarship, and innovation in all aspects of life.
